Verbs&Nouns Lookup (or V&N Lookup for short) is an easy-to-use program that puts dictionary-power at your fingertips. It makes use of the dictionaries for the application program Verbs & Nouns. You can use Verbs&Nouns Lookup while you are working with other text-based applications because it searches for any word that you copy to the clipboard. Depending on which modules you have, Verbs&Nouns Lookup can locate similar words in several languages at the same time. It can check the spelling and translate passages of text word for word.
To learn more about the Verbs & Nouns dictionaries, download the program Verbs & Nouns which is available from the same places as this application. You can find a list of available dictionaries in the chapter called 'Dictionaries and Lessons' in this 'ReadMe' file. The application Verbs&Nouns Lookup is part of my 'Foreign Language Toolkit'.
Structure and Components of the Foreign Language Toolkit.
The Foreign Language Toolkit comprises four application programs and three kinds of documents as shown on the picture below.
ツ
You write interactive multimedia lessons with Language Toolkit Writer and dictionaries (with inflection and other advanced grammar information) with the Verbs & Nouns program. You can browse the dictionaries and practise a foreign language on the level of single words using the Verbs & Nouns or Verbs&Nouns Lookup applications. Language Toolkit Reader allows you to use both the Interactive Lessons and the Dictionaries.
Additional features planned for the Foreign Language Toolkit include: a text editor with hypertext features; easy text analysis and translation; WWW capable utilities; and the capability to do lessons in real time over the Internet. The future of the project depends on the interest level. All remarks are welcome.

Registration
The program Verbs&Nouns Lookup is shareware. If you use it you should register your copy. The unregistered version quits every 6 minutes. The single user non-transferable licence is US $10 (the site licence is also available). Please launch the Register utility enclosed in the same folder as this ReadMe file. Enter your name, your email address, and the number of licenses you wish to purchase. Save, copy or print the data from the Register application and send it to Kagi along with your payment. Kagi will process your registration and forward your payment to me.
If you have any questions or comments about my software please send me the e-mail message. My address is:

If you register three 'Foreign Language Toolkit' component programs together (i.e. 'Verbs & Nouns', 'Verbs&Nouns Lookup', and 'Language Toolkit Reader') then you will receive the CD-ROM disc with the files available from my home-page. Please visit my home-page at <http://users.netmatters.co.uk/dandaforbes/toolkitcd.html> for the details. Please remember to include your postal address if you register all three programs so the CD-ROM disc can be sent to you promptly.
Kagi registration information
窶「 If you pay with a credit card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data to Kagi. Their email address is sales@kagi.com and their fax number is +1-510-652-6589. You can either copy the data from Register and paste it into the body of an email message, or you can save the data to a file and attach the file to an email message. There is no need to compress the data file, it窶冱 already pretty small. If you have a fax modem, just print the data to the Kagi fax number.
窶「 Payments sent via email and through the online registration site are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive an email acknowledgement when your registration is done. Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days. You will also be notified by email if you provide a correct internet email address. Payments sent via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to 10 days for processing. Again, if you include a correct email address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.
窶「 You can also pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries, or with a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi cannot accept checks in other currencies. In both cases you should print the data using the Register application and send it to the address shown on the form, which is:
Kagi
1442-A Walnut Street #392-QEQ
Berkeley, California 94709-1405
U.S.A.
窶「 If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then select Invoice as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You may want to highlight the line that reminds them to include a copy of the form with their payment.
窶「 Kagi cannot invoice your company. If you need an invoice, you must act on my behalf and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.
窶「 Please do not fax or email payment forms that indicate cash, check or invoice as the payment method. As far as we know, there is still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or email and without the payment, the form cannot be processed.
